Heart Rate & Apple Watch
Work through these in order:
You can also re-enable Health access from inside the app: tap the Health Permissions Needed banner on the home screen if it appears, or go to Settings → Enable Advanced Tracking.
Permissions can be accidentally turned off if you tapped "Maybe Later" during Premium setup, or toggled a permission off in the Health app.
Apple Watch HR monitoring typically takes 15–30 seconds to start after a session begins. The sensor needs a moment to lock on, and the Watch app needs to establish a connection with your iPhone.
For best results, put your Watch on and make sure it's snug before starting a session. HR tracking will begin automatically — you don't need to do anything on the Watch.
If you notice a longer delay (over a minute) on the very first session after installing or reinstalling the app, that is normal. The Watch app re-establishes its connection after a fresh install, and subsequent sessions return to the usual startup time.
Check the following:
The Watch app launches automatically when you start a session. You don't need to open it manually.
Yes. The binaural audio, haptic pulse, and all three session phases work on iPhone alone. Apple Watch adds real-time heart rate tracking and the HR trend charts — those features require Premium and a paired Watch.
Session History & iCloud Sync
Session history syncs via iCloud. After reinstalling, open the app and wait 1–2 minutes — your sessions will reappear automatically as long as you're signed into the same Apple ID.
If sessions don't appear after a few minutes, check that iCloud is enabled: iPhone Settings → [your name] → iCloud, and make sure Tera 7.83 is listed and turned on.
Both devices must be signed into the same Apple ID with iCloud enabled. Sync can take a minute or two after the app launches. Make sure you're not in Airplane Mode.
Premium
Open the app, go to Settings → Restore Purchases. This relinks your purchase to the current install. If the issue persists, make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used to make the original purchase.
Yes. Premium is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple ID — not a subscription. Use Restore Purchases on any device signed into the same account.
No. Premium is a single one-time payment. You pay once and own it forever, including all future updates to the Premium feature set.
